Do you travel? What are your travel fees?

Yes! We love shooting in different locations around the world and destination weddings allow us to get to know our couples and tell their story in an intimate way. We typically arrive at least a day or two in advance and fly out the day after the event. Destination pricing applies to any event that is over 2 hours from our office in Austin, Tx (78703).

Who selects the music in your films?

Music is one of the most important ingredients in cinematic storytelling and choosing the right track is the first step in the creative process. I’ll send a bunch of playlist to pick from. Unfortunately, Vimeo and Youtube have been cracking down on the use of copyrighted music. Luckily I have a couple great resources that I license music from for use in my films through specialty websites like www.themusicbed.com and www.songfreedom.com. If there is a particular song you really love, we can always find a great cover!

What is the highlight film?

My Highlight Film is what I pride myself on. Think of it as an engaging, cinematic summary of your wedding day. It has a runtime between four and 10 minutes, but is typically around the five minute mark. This length and format makes the Highlight Film ideal for sharing with family and friends on social media.

Our venue is requiring proof of Liability Insurance – do you carry it and can you provide us a copy?

Yes, I’m fully insured and can provide you with proof of insurance.

How far in advance should we book your services?

Simple answer: as soon as possible!

Long answer: Since we only take a limited number of weddings a year, our bookings get filled rather quickly. Most clients secure our services a year to a year and a half in advance. That being said, we still book dates within the same year. Contact us to see if we have your date available!

What are your rates?

I’m very transparent, and have all my prices listed under the investment page here.

Can we puchase additional USB’s at later dates?

Of course! I keep copies of all your films on my media server indefinitely.

Are you going to direct us in any way?

With my style, about 90% of the day is collected organically. I'll only direct you a handful of times, and certainly not during intimate moments. For example, I may ask that you stand near a window when getting ready for the best light or I'll have you hold hands and walk somewhere, hug & kiss, or do a cool fly over with a drone. It's very similar to taking photos, but with natural movements and less posing. Obtaining these cinematic shots increases the quality of your film dramatically and allows me to add a level of intimacy by eliminating distracting elements in the frame.

Do you offer photography?

I started off as a wedding photographer but I’ve moved my focus exclusively to producing the best wedding films, and obsessed with making every film better then the last! They might be simliar but they’re actually completly different art forms, and you really want your photographer singulary focused on being the best photographer.
