Set the cake somewhere with good light and room to stand behind it. We need a clean angle for the cutting.
Common questions
When should we cut the cake?
Many couples cut right after toasts, so the caterer can plate it while the dance floor opens.
Do we need a cake if we have other desserts?
No. A small cutting cake plus a dessert bar or ice cream is common and films just as well.
