A digital filter imitates what film used to look like. Actual film looks like itself, and it will look the same in thirty years, because the grain lives in the emulsion rather than in software.
Most couples tell us the Super 8 minutes are the part they rewatch most.
Real Kodak stock, run through a camera older than either of you, scanned frame by frame.
Film is expensive and each cartridge is short, so we use it carefully. We spend it on first looks, golden hour, and the dance floor.
The cartridges go to a US lab, get developed, and come back as high-resolution scans a few weeks later.
The scans are cut into your highlight film and documentary edit, right beside the 4K, and delivered as their own reel too.
Super 8 and VHS come standard in the Star and Eclipse collections. If you're starting with Moon, film can be added on its own. And for elopements and small weddings, there's a collection that is nothing but film.
